- Yoga With Sarah Hunt

Our theme for the final extended practice of the year is BALANCE.
This doesn't only mean our ability to stand on one leg or balance on our hands, although of course this will feature in our physical practice. It also means our ability to find mental clarity by focusing our attention and achieving harmony between opposing forces such as effort and ease, strength and flexibility, the external world and inner peace.
A lot of people have a love/hate relationship with balancing in yoga - some days it all clicks and we find that perfect momentary stillness and other days balancing poses feel like the hardest thing in the world. And maybe the other days are seem to outweigh those days of ease. Whatever your relationship with these poses, this is an opportunity to delve deeper into the concepts of balance, explore how what we experience on the mat can help us both understand and navigate aspects of life off the mat, or just have fun trying to see what we can and can't do.
