Extended Practice: Breath & Bandhas

Class Description
Join me for a two hour extended practice where we will be exploring the how to use energy locks (bandhas) together with breathwork to control internal energy and support postures. You'll learn about the three major bandhas and how they function to control and direct energy. We'll explore how to use breath retention to engage the locks and how to coordinate them to support our asana (postures). We will flow through a yoga sequence where you will get an opportunity to practice engagement of bandhas and experience the physical, energetic and mental effects. We will finish with a 30 minute yoga nidra (guided meditation). Suitable for all levels of experience as options will be given but please get in touch in advance if you have any particular health or physical conditions that affect your movement. Cancellations with more than 7 days notice will be refunded in full. Cancellations with more than 48 notice but less than 7 days will receive a 50% refund and cancellations within 48 hours do not qualify for a refund.

Face to face classes can be cancelled up to 1 hour before the class start time. Any cancellation after this time will be treated as a late cancellation and no refunds or credits will be offered. For workshops and events please check when booking for the specific policy for your event.
